This week we focussed on improving the comments Pincites generates and making it easier for you to give us feedback:
- Feedback buttons. You can now submit feedback on a bad suggestion by clicking a thumbs-down button in the Pincites Word add-in. When submitting feedback, you can optionally attach the full contract, allowing the Pincites team to replicate the issue.
- Comment-only suggestions. If you specify that the resolution for a failed check is to comment on the clause without redlining it, Pincites will not suggest comment-only resolutions for that clause.
- Improved comment quality. We've overhauled the way Pincites generates comments to make them more concise and relevant.
- Updated icons. We've updated the icons used throughout the Word add-in.
- Better handling of manual clause numbering. Previously, Pincites would sometimes delete the clause number if it had been manually added to the clause. We now guard against this, so your manual clause numbers should be preserved.
