New features for the Pincites Word add-in this week include:

  • GPT-4-Omni. Pincites now uses GPT-4-Omni to generate suggestions. The most noticeable change is a 2x speedup in the time it takes to run checks and generate suggestions, but you may also notice improvements in the quality of suggestions.
  • Copy suggestions. You can now right click on any insertions within a Pincites suggestion to copy that part of the suggestion. This is particularly useful if you want to apply the suggestion to a different part of a contract.
  • Placeholder content controls. Pincites now handles placeholder content controls when redlining a document. (Previously Pincites would throw an error if it encountered a placeholder content control.)
  • Unsupported version display. If you attempt to use Pincites on an unsupported version of Word you will now see details of which versions of Word are supported.

We also improved the Pincites admin dashboard to help you more easily define checks and standard clauses:

  • Export playbooks. You can now export a playbook as a PDF. To do so, open the dropdown menu on the playbook's overview page and select "Download as PDF".
  • Arrow navigation for checks and clauses. You can now use the left and right arrow keys to navigate between checks and clauses when viewing a playbook.
  • Base check suite descriptions. All base check suites now have descriptions that describe when they should be used. The descriptions are displayed when selecting a base check suite to add to a playbook.
  • Filter for disabled managed checks. You can show or hide the Pincites managed checks that you've disabled with the filter on the checks page. ¸
  • View history across your clauses. On the Standard Clauses page, you can view a history of all the changes across your clauses.

Got an improvement you want to see in Pincites? We'd love to hear from you.
