Changelog: April 19, 2024

This week our focus was on first party paper. Here are some of the improvements we shipped:

  • New first party paper view. When you're analysing first party paper, Pincites now displays which checks from your playbook are failing as a result of a redline, making it easier to review a contract redline-by-redline. Read more in our blog post.
  • Template-aware suggestions. Pincites' suggestions on first party paper are now influenced by your template text, making them more consistent with your standard text. This has always been the case for clause-level checks, but it's now the case for contract-level checks, too.
  • Scoped checks. You can now configure whether a check runs on first party paper, third party paper, or both. This is useful if you want to specify high-level checks for third party paper in the same playbook as detailed checks for first party paper.
  • Inline images bug fix. Pincites can now redline around inline images in your text. Though inline images are not common, this fix is a good example of how committed we are to keeping Pincites bug-free and able to handle the toughest documents (like PDF → Word conversions).

Got an improvement you want to see in Pincites? We'd love to hear from you.
